🧩 Your Day

Your day starts with a coffee or tea and a quick team check-in. Together, you go over the planning and your tasks for the day. You’ll be supporting the advisory team with a variety of activities, helping to keep client work organized and on track.

In the morning, you work on updating client files and processing financial data, such as purchase and sales entries. You make sure everything is correctly recorded and well-structured. As you go, you start to recognize how financial information fits together and supports the bigger picture.

Mid-morning, you assist a colleague with preparing a VAT return or gathering documentation for a year-end process. You help ensure all required information is complete and ready to use. When something is unclear or missing, you check in with your team to move things forward.

After lunch, you continue with your tasks—working in tools like CaseWare, updating documentation, and preparing simple overviews or reports. You receive feedback from colleagues and use it to improve your work and build your skills step by step.

Throughout the day, you stay in touch with your team, ask questions, and support where needed. You’re learning how advisory work comes together, while contributing to accurate and well-organized client files.

At the end of the day, you close your laptop knowing you’ve supported the team and made progress. With each task, you’re building your knowledge, confidence, and experience in advisory.

What You’ll Do

• Support the advisory team with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks
• Compile and maintain client files and ensure documentation is complete and well-structured
• Process basic financial entries (e.g. purchase, sales, and payroll data)
• Assist in preparing simple financial reports and supporting schedules
• Help prepare VAT and year-end tax declarations by gathering and organizing required information
• Work with tools such as CaseWare and internal templates to document your work accurately
• Follow standard procedures and guidelines under the guidance of senior colleagues
• Identify missing information or inconsistencies and escalate them when needed
• Contribute to the accuracy and consistency of client deliverables

Job requirements

🧠 What You Bring

• A completed or ongoing HBO/WO degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics
• 0–2 years of experience (internships or relevant part-time work are a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Basic understanding of financial administration or accounting (or willingness to learn)
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• A proactive and curious mindset—you ask questions and want to learn
• A sense of responsibility and reliability in completing your tasks
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues
