Job description

At JOINSON&SPICE, we work with leading tech companies and strongly believe in a data-driven approach, using our in-house developed software to deliver outstanding results. Innovation really does literally flow through our veins. Our team is growing (we aim to triple in size by 2028), and we work with fast-growing scale-up clients in Tech, both national and international who need more than just compliance — they need Audit Assistants who think with them.

🧩 Your Day

Your day kicks off with a good cup of coffee or tea, followed by a team check-in. Together, you go through the audit plan for a client, and you get a clear view of what you’ll be working on. This week, you’re supporting the team on revenue recognition—learning how the client’s accounting works and assisting with checking data, preparing simple analyses, and helping ensure everything adds up.

Throughout the morning, you work closely with your colleagues. You ask questions, learn how to approach audit tasks, and gradually build your understanding of the bigger picture.

Mid-morning, you help prepare for a client meeting. Together with a more experienced team member, you review the agenda and key topics. You take notes during the discussion and help summarize the main points and follow-up actions afterward.

After lunch, you continue working on your assigned tasks, such as updating documentation, completing audit steps, and preparing your work for review. You receive feedback from your colleagues, helping you improve and learn with each task you complete.

During the day, you stay in touch with your team—asking for guidance when needed and supporting wherever you can. Step by step, you grow more confident in your role.

At the end of the day, you close your laptop with a sense of progress. You’re not just supporting the audit—you’re building your knowledge, skills, and experience, one step at a time.

What You’ll Do

• Support audit engagements by assisting the team with day-to-day audit activities
• Gather, review, and organize client documentation
• Perform basic audit procedures and complete standard audit checklists
• Work with audit software and Excel using pre-defined templates
• Document your work and findings clearly and accurately
• Follow audit instructions, procedures, and relevant regulations
• Identify questions or inconsistencies and discuss them with senior team members
• Ensure your tasks are completed on time and with attention to detail
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
